On the one hand, we see results and works cast into figures. On the other hand, we feel the urge for freedom, energy and fulfillment.
To this feeling I wish you a picture as strong as that, which I carry in my heart: Mine smells like horse. I let myself be carried across fields at a gallop.
So accounting became my hobby horse and my urge to free it. This horse has taken me to different companies. I wanted to see, how I could use the accounting figures to understand the history of the company. In this way, we can see what the company is offering to help us to achieve our goals. Above all, to feel the freedom it brings to the customer.
I went from one company to another for years. Hungry, for what it´s all about. Everything that is used, like machinery, material, personnel, – compared to the result. Figures from accounting, makes possible to recognize the history of the company. The story of the core business. There is an instrument, that is indispensable for this: The accounting software.
It makes possble, to place accounting into the middle of a company. Accounting combines all of the company´s data. It is the heart of all numbers. Here you can find the results of the company. With this information you can make it a success. You smell, hear, taste and feel freedom. And for this freedom, I created the Andersen Award.
