Almost two years ago she made a big step into another life. She moved out. She wanted to live with her father. Because he promised her and her brother that they would move to another country together. A better life. No school. No troubles.
Then her mother didn’t hear anything for a while. Until Christmas. She had come to pick up a few things from her room she has used in her past. And some things for her brother, too.
Then everything happened very quickly. They packed parcels and they wanted to bring them to the post office. But the boxes where heavy and large. Sothey asked their mother for help.
A few weeks later at the airport. The mother made one last photo. It shows a discreet but hopeful smile.
No sign of life for several months for their mother. Until an online meeting. The video didn’t work. It remained black for the mother. She only heard voices.
That was a year ago.
